He is best known for his ever-changing show that includes a mixture of original and standard songs, backed by his powerful mastery of the guitar and piano, blended with a touch of humor.
While most of his time is spent writing songs for his own show or for other artists, he has also written music for commercials, trade shows, and television. He composed and performed the "Ya Gotta Regatta" theme song for the Pittsburgh Three Rivers Regatta radio commercials and completed music for the pilot episode of "ME TOO," a television series for children. Mark has appeared on German National Television as a guest star on Horst Jankowski's "Swing & Talk," a live broadcast from Berlin. He was also a featured vocalist on WQED's Emmy Award-winning program " American Standards."
In addition to being a talented musician, Mark is an accomplished actor. While still in high school, he was named "Outstanding Actor" by the Theater Guild of Mobile, Alabama. Later he studied theater with Martin Esslin in London. He has appeared on the NBC daytime series "Another World" and in the films "Smokey is the Bandit" and "Where the Boys are Now." Mark was born in Chicago, Illinois but has traveled extensively ever since. He holds a B.S. and a Masters degree in Political Science from Florida State University.
However, he has never run for office........
Entertainment and music have kept him too busy.
